About The Midnight Sun (2016): The Midnight Sun (Khorshi-e Nimeh Shab) is the first directing experience of Shobeir Shirazi. The screenplay, written by Shobeir Shirazi is an adaptation of The Story of Panda Bears, written by Matei Vişniec. The film depicts nine days in the life of a young musician, which are unique and different from the rest of his life, spent in the company of a mysterious and comforting beautiful young woman. Director: Shobeir Shirazi, Cast: Sonbol Azami, Arman Darvish, Shahab Hosseini, Azadeh Mehdizade, Reza Yazdani. Produced by Shahab Hosseini.

About Shahab Hosseini: Shahab Hosseini (Persian: شهاب حسینی‎, born 3 February 1974) is an award-winning Iranian actor and director. A popular actor in Iran, internationally he is known for collaborations with Iranian writer and director Asghar Farhadi in About Elly (2008), A Separation (2011), and The Salesman (2016). He has won the Silver Bear for Best Actor for A Separation together with the male cast in 61st Berlin International Film Festival, and the Best Actor Award in 2016 Cannes Film Festival for his role in The Salesman. Shahab Hosseini won the Crystal Simorgh for the 2009 Superstar fim . In 2013, he made his movie directing debut.
