FILM SYNOPSIS:

A young Iranian woman (Dorsa Sinaki), who is dutifully pursuing her father’s plan for her to become a doctor — attending medical school in China – – is thrown into existential turmoil when a famous casting director offers her the lead role in Abbas Kiarostami’s next film.

Caught between her own desires and ambitions and those of her father, she finds an unexpected ally in her mother, (Ana Bayat), who, she discovers, has suffered from thwarted dreams of her own.
