Join us for an intimate performance by Gelareh Sheibani on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 7:30 PM at Central Stage in Richmond. Accompanied by Mohammad Talani (arrangement, guitar), Arash Pajand Moghaddam (drums) , and Lukas Vesely (bass), Gelareh will perform a selection of her nostalgic songs and works from her new collection.

About the Artist

Gelareh Sheibani is an Iranian singer, songwriter, producer known as GeLLa. Her hit songs "Roozom Shove," composed by Masoud Bakhtiyari,and "Nagoo Tanhaee," composed by Hooman Ajdari, have over 10 million plays across various music platforms. She is known for her contributions to Persian Jazz/Blues music and is currently working with Hooman Ajdari on her new album.

GeLLa was born with a passion for world music and developed an interest in music at a young age. She trained with Iranian jazz and blues vocalist Sara Naeini.. GeLLa started her music career at the age 16 as a studio singer in Tehran and recorded two albums with various artists.

Later on she traveled to different countries such as China, Malaysia, Dubai and Turkey performing and working with different agencies and worked with big brands for 10 years. She currently resides in Los Angeles, where she performs regularly.
