ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Farima, known by her stage name of Justina, was born in Tehran, Iran. She began writing poetry when she was 13, but loved singing since her early childhood. She began her professional music and singing career when she was 18. For the past decade, Justina has been professionally active in rap, rock, and pop rap genres. Justina has produced dozens of music videos , 40 singles, and three music albums. She lived and worked in Iran until four years ago, when she was arrested by Iran's intelligence authorities and was forced to flee her homeland. Justina focuses on human rights, political, and women's rights issues in her musical activities. She lives in Tbilisi, Georgia.
